My foray into the independently produced hair care products market has started with a lesser-known brand: Bare Beauty Organics. Nowhere on the popular vlogs or blogs had I seen the products advertised, and I only learned about it via WeBuyBlack.com. It seems counterintuitive to avoid the popular brands, but the new guy always needs a chance, as I’m well aware, so I decided to give it to him (or her).
Earlier this year, in March or April, I was doin’ some local canvassing for my other business, and got hungry. There was a pizza joint on the corner, so I popped in, and learned that an East African family owns it. I placed an order, and liked the food and service enough to resolve to return. The following review is based on my follow-up experience.
Earlier this year, I’d gotten wind of an art showing at Miss Ollie’s, a local Caribbean restaurant. I’d wanted to visit Miss Ollie’s for some time; I wanted to see the canvas work of Paul Lewin, first hand. I decided to knock out two birds with one stone, and I had a good time doin’ it.
About a year ago, I’d heard of this laundry detergent, but was afraid to even consider buying it because I couldn’t afford it. Eventually, I chose to reprioritize, scrape my coins together, and invest in a bottle.
Since havin’ my car broken into a few years ago (long story), I’ve been meaning to replenish my emergency implements. I’ve been meaning, too, to patronize a fellow schoolmate’s business. Well, wouldn’t you know it! My fellow alumna has a catalogue store, The Spinster’s Shoppe, that provides –of all things– a mini-emergency road kit.
