Product Review: Art Frame @ Captured Images Custom Framing
A week or so before my birthday, I’d decided to frame the lone piece of art I’d owned so that I could hang it on the wall. The piece is just a lithograph, but it’s my lithograph, and I didn’t want it rolled-up in the cardboard tube in which it had been shipped. I wanted to look at it, everyday, but I wanted to make sure it’d be protected. In comes Captured Images Custom Framing.

J.C. takes half the payment, up front. I don’t know if he takes cash, but he definitely takes cards. He took the payment, then generated a receipt.

It’s EX-CELL-ENT. JC took inventory of what I wanted, asked me questions to determine what I needed, and found a way to balance the two — without making me feel stupid and without being predatory. JC told me, up front, before taking inventory of ANYTHING, that there’s be no way he’d get my frame to me within a week (the week before my birthday). He told me that he would probably not complete my order until late-Janury.
Let me tell you.
He called me late-December or early-January to let me know that my order was ready. JC got me together earlier than expected, but I wasn’t surprised. He has a cool competence about him that suggests greatness.

What can I say? I love my frame.
It’s perfectly constructed, as far as I can tell. The pieces of the frame are seamlessly connected. The border I chose is perfectly centered.
Product Usability – 5
I lean my piece against the wall, in a corner, atop a shelf. If I ever decided to hang it on a wall, JC’s made it easy to do that; there’s a hook and nail enclosed in a little pouch, which is attached to the wire that runs along the back of the art piece.
Going forward, I plan to acquire more art. Do I plan to have it custom framed? Yes. Do I plan to have it framed at Captured Images Custom Framing? I sure do, and I suggest you do the same.
