I thought Lena’s first home–the one that used to have the dollar menu–was closed. Now, I’m not sure. Drive by and see. Regardless, although Lena’s has expanded, and may only exist in the new larger location (where Soul’s used to be), I’m still writing this review based on one of my experiences at the old location.
It can be a pain, that doubt thing. When I first decided to go into business for myself, I was busy planning, busy thinking, busy getting things together, busy being busy. A lot of time was spent being the latter, so that I could justify my impending failure.
Because she appreciates the Marquanas, Kierras, Tatanishas and Kenishas as much as she appreciates the Michelles, Kellys, and Alicias, @DrYabaBlay is the bomb, and I have no problem supportin’ her work, and I hope you feel the same.
(In my Tommy voice.) I’m ’bout that #FreshLife, daaaaaawg! These pictures don’t do it justice, but I can’t talk — I didn’t take my damn camera with me. It wasn’t hyper-packed, but there was a great turnout and a vibe I’ve never felt there. A really good vibe. Anywho, it was nice to see all the regular farmers and vendors and to meet the newbies.
