Product Review: California Love Deep Conditioner by Bare Beauty Organics
My foray into the independently produced hair care products market has started with a lesser-known brand: Bare Beauty Organics. Nowhere on the popular vlogs or blogs had I seen the products advertised, and I only learned about it via WeBuyBlack.com. It seems counterintuitive to avoid the popular brands, but the new guy always needs a chance, as I’m well aware, so I decided to give it to him (or her).

Customer Service – 5 (I never tried to contact the supplier, but I didn’t need to. My package arrived early. If I’m not mistaken, it showed-up three days after I placed my order. I was happy as hell!)
Product – 3 (The product softens my hair, but it does nothing, as far as I can tell, in the way of strengthening it. To be clear and fair, I need a trim, my diet has been really unbalanced the last few months, and I think stress may be making my hair fall out. I’ve only used the conditioner three times. I’ll keep you all posted, and if there’s a turn in tide, after I get some balance in my life, I’ll let y’all know.)
Product Usability – 3 (Bare Beauty Organics seems to have tried to avoid using plastic packaging, for which I appreciate the company that much more, but the plastic lined brown bag in which the product is housed is a no-go. There’s a zip lock mechanism inside the bag that’s a bit defunct. By the time my package arrived, the product has dissolved the seal a bit. When using the product, I have to scoop it from the bag. Otherwise, product leaks onto the brown bag, making it nasty. I also have to leave the bag outside the shower to avoid getting the paper bag wet. Also, because the zip lock seal is defunct, sealing the bag is not an option. As a result, the conditioner develops a hardened top layer, which is not that big a deal. It works just fine, later.)
